Mijn vriend en ik vertrekken binnenkort voor twee maanden naar Kirgizië en dit boek heeft ons erg geholpen met plannen. Er staan routes in die afwijken van de normale paden, gecategoriseerd naar vervoersmiddel (te voet, motor, 4x4 of zelfs te paard). De kaarten zijn heel overzichtelijk, eventueel kun je op hun website nog bijhorende gps tracks downloaden. We moeten natuurlijk nog ondervinden of alles klopt ;-) maar daar heb ik vertrouwen in. Al met al; top boek van twee mensen die er zichtbaar veel tijd en liefde in hebben gestoken om mensen tips te geven voor een onvergetelijke reis die afwijkt van de routes die je in een Lonely Planet zou vinden.
